My friend loves this place and it is indeed a good place to have dinner and a nice conversation. I wasn't at all wowed by the food, but the service and the atmosphere were great. We had no reservations on a Saturday night. My friend wanted a booth, but there was only a table available. The tables at this place are great because the leather table chairs are fantastically comfortable. Each chair felt like a booth of its own! Best chairs in town, that's for sure!! Our deep-voiced server was very professional. Wish I could remember his name because he was really good! The atmosphere is really nice. There is live music which is basically a woman singing karaoke but it works. It's background noise and it works. Here's the food part: For starters, my friends had the seafood salad. They loved it! I ordered off the prix-fixe me. House salad, 16 oz ribeye and warm chocolate cake for $80. My house salad was pretty good. Nice mix of dark greens, oil and balsamic vinegar with a light dash of blue cheese. Nothing incredible, but not bad at all. My NY steak was disappointing. It seemed the quality of steak you'd get at Ralphs. Not restaurant quality at all. It was about an inch thin and it was slathered with sauce. A good steak will stand on its own without sauce. This had no searing or crust you'd find on a good steak. It was tender and cooked a perfect medium, just the way I ordered it. Not big on flavor though, even with all the sauce it was drenched in. One of my friends had scallops. Yes on the scallops, my other friend had the halibut. It was a nice thick cut but it lacked flavor and was a teeny bit dry. For desert, we shared the warm chocolate cake and cheesecake. Both were worth the calories!! I had a Manhattan. They do a really good Manhattan. Shout out to the bartender on that one! It was a very pleasant experience but I had higher expectations regarding the quality of the food. On another note, my friend told me to wear a sport coat, it was a dressy place, but I actually was the only person in there wearing one. Everyone else was basically nice beach casual or date casual, so pretty much, just wear what you want within reason.

A beautiful old school type of restaurant with cozy booths and space between tables. The night we went they had a live band that played old rock tunes. Service impeccable and food very good.

Went for brunch which is only available on Sundays starting at 11am. It was great! Our server Cheyenne was the best! The Bayside Benedict with crab was great. You can also choose ham or spinach. The BLTA was also great with high quality bacon. The Chicken Barley Soup was wonderful and gourmet.

First visit, and we were with a group of 15. Wonderful ambiance, and very nice views of the bay, boats, and waterfront homes from inside, as well as the covered patio. They offer free valet parking (tips appreciated). We were there to take advantage of their Brunch menu. SERVICE: Larry waited on us, and the service was excellent, including all of the staff who assisted him. He was kind enough to provide separate checks for our group, and they didn't add a mandatory tip, as many restaurants do with larger parties. I suggest asking about this upfront, so there's no miscommunications. DRINKS: The brunch menu offers two options for bottomless mimosas: the Wycliff Sparkling Brut ($15), and the Le Chemin du Roi Brut ($30), along with orange, cranberry, and grapefruit juice mixers. The sparkling wines were tasty, as our party ordered both, and I was able to sample each. I, on the other hand, had a The Spicy Southern Bloody Mary ($16), which was loaded with bacon, olives, and a giant celery stalk. I also tried the Olé Fashioned with mezcal ($17). I thought that both cocktails were well made. FOOD: For a group of our size, all of the orders came out quick, hot, and the portions were plenty. My wife and I thought that the food was okay. Nothing was terrible, but nothing "wowed" us either. Could have used a little more seasoning all the way around. We tried the Bayside Continental ($24), which included a stack of three, very fluffy pancakes, two eggs, bacon, and breakfast potatoes. The Bayside Benedicts have an option of smoked ham ($26), crab $29), or sautéed spinach ($24). The crab was in need of a little more seasoning. Finally, I had the Meat Lovers Omelette ($25), with bacon, Italian sausage, onion, mushroom, gruyere cheese, and a side of breakfast potatoes. A little salt and pepper, and this was good to go. I heard that the Chicken Barley Soup ($13) was very good, and the Lobster Salad Sandwich ($34) served open face, was okay. Overall, a nice brunch experience, and great service. I would definitely come back and give Bayside another try, maybe for dinner next time.

It's a very nice restaurant location in balaboa island area. Their service was great and everyone was very friendly. The banana bread they gave us was heavenly. We got some drinks and a tuna tartar and the tuna was fresh and flavorful. I also like that they have live music bc it's hard to find a place offer live music. I always like to support local musician.

We had our Anniversary dinner here. First visit and we had a great time! Great food, staff and drinks! Live music was awesome! We will be back.

really lovely dinner spot There's live music every night and they have excellent service

Came for a private reception on a Saturday afternoon and it was a really great restaurant for it. Spacious and plenty of parking, service was impeccable. Servers came with hor d'oeuvres constantly, and my favorite was the mini crab cakes and bacon wrapped goat cheese dates. Yum! The chicken skewers were really tender and tasty with the aioli. The california roll was not good at all, they must have refrigerated it and the rice was completely hard.

Huge parking lot next to Pavillions. This is a higher end restaurant. I was there for a work event where they served a bunch of finger foods. 3 dedicated wait staff who were so nice, polite and quick with the service. The restaurant is better than nicely decorated. Probably a fantastic location for a date night. They do have a bar where you can eat and mingle. On to the appetizers: lack of a star was for the less than fresh shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were huge but had that distinctively seafood smell. If it's fresh, it wouldn't smell like anything. Top of my list were the Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms. Can I say bomb?! Tied for second place were the meatballs and the deviled eggs. Very nice also. The salmon canapés were ok. Pretty to look at. Lacking some punchy flavors. Last but not least were the mozzarella and tomato skewers. Nothing special but definitely a dependable option. They had live music the evening when we were there. Definitely on the posh side so I suggest business casual attire to blend in with the crowd.

JT (manager) and Sonya (waitress) are the best! Delicious food, GREAT service, lovely ambiance. My boyfriend and I loved the sax and drums combo. One of the huge perks of this place!! New York Steak Frites and all the desserts are amazing. Can't go wrong with the cheesecake or chocolate cake. Highly recommend! We will be back!!
